Lily7 is devoted to investing in the lives of young women and helping them grow individually and spiritually through sole dependence on Christ. It is our desire to accomplish this through personal interaction, relevant resources, and authentic relationships. Our Commitment The women of Lily7 are committed to the following covenant as we serve in ministry together: We will strive to be women who exercise self-control in all areas of our lives in a manner that pleases God. a. Self-control regarding our speech.     James 3:2-6 b. Self-control regarding envious thoughts.     James 3:13-16 c. Self-control regarding anger.     James 1:19-20 d. Self-control related to our sexuality.     1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 We will strive to be "trusters" of God's purpose for Lily7 and not "doubters" or "worriers" as shown by our actions. (See James 2:21-24). We will strive to hold each other accountable to the attributes of a Godly woman. (See Proverbs 31:10-31). We will strive to always be honest, up front and forthright with each other and, accordingly, to be "truth speakers". We will strive to be transparent and confront each other in love. (See James 5:12; Matthew 5:33-37; 1 John 4:7-8). We will pray for each other individually. We will pray for God's purposes and glory to be effectuated through Lily7. We will pray for the girls with whom Lily7 will come in contact. We will pursue God with our whole heart — obeying the greatest commandment as Jesus gave to us in His Word. (See Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37-38). We will pursue a relationship with God through consistent study of His Word and prayer.
